My name is Maxim, and I've been obsessed with cycling for as long as I can remember.

My first real memory of the sport is watching a young Tom Boonen announce himself on the cobbles of his debut Paris-Roubaix. Being Belgian, that was all it took. I was hooked instantly, and to this day, Roubaix remains my favorite race on the calendar. Not a coincidence.

From there, it only grew. These days I watch every race I can find, live if possible, run more fantasy cycling teams than I'd like to admit, dig through data sites most people have never heard of, and have a genuine problem when it comes to Pro Cycling Manager.

The one thing missing was something of my own within the sport. I've always had an eye for good graphic design and clever, playful typography, the kind of thing that makes you look twice at a t-shirt. So I built MAXES: apparel inspired by the sport, but not built for the bike. Pieces made for the street, worn by people who get the references whether they've ever raced a bike or not.
